Share the Care

Friends Ask Friends to Get Mammograms

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) created Share the Care as a community-wide program to support breast health and to increase access to breast care. Our goal? To educate our community on the importance of screening mammograms to reduce mortality from breast cancer.

How can you Share the Care?

Ask your friends to get mammograms, and be proactive with your breast health. Utilize YRMC’s breast health and screening services, and spread the word about the many enthusiastic businesses and organizations who support Share the Care with fundraising events.

What is Share the Care?

No-cost screening mammography and support services for financially vulnerable patients who qualify for assistance through the YRMC Foundation’s Breast Care Fund.

  • Breast cancer risk assessments from the Baskin Breast Care Center’s experienced clinical navigators.
  • Information on the importance of annual screening mammography.
  • Partnerships with like-minded community organizations and businesses interested in promoting breast health, encouraging screening mammograms to reduce breast cancer mortality, and assisting financially vulnerable patients who need breast screening as well as other services.
