Dignity Health, Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) will allow limited visitation for patients in COVID isolation units at its hospital locations in Prescott and Prescott Valley. This change, while serving as a benefit to patients and loved ones, will be monitored closely and may be revised based on COVID-19 infection rates in the community.
- All visitors will check in at the front entrance of the hospital where they will be temperature and symptom screened and given a procedural mask to wear. Note: visitors that fail their screening will not be allowed to enter.
Following the screening, all visitors will check-in at the reception desk where they will be escorted to a room to watch the educational video and sign the visitation agreement. Visitors may then proceed to the unit, check in at the Nurses Station, DON their PPE and proceed with their visit.
Visitors will be provided a visitor pass after the health screening process has been successfully completed. The visitor pass must be worn at all times while in the hospital.
There are special circumstances that may be deemed an appropriate exception. Unit leadership will triage any exception requests on a case-by-case basis.
At this time, visitors will not be allowed to visit the cafeteria or gift shop while on campus during visitor hours.
